The Word Became Flesh
Today’s Scripture
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Today’s Thought
This is the heart of the whole story. God didn’t just send words; He sent Himself. Jesus is God’s Word in human form. He moved into the neighborhood, ate meals, walked dusty roads, and showed us exactly what God is like: full of grace and full of truth, never one without the other. God isn’t distant. He came close. Because He did, we never have to guess what God is like. We can look at Jesus.
Put It Into Practice
Read one story from the life of Jesus in the Gospels today and ask, “What does this show me about who God is?”
