Ever-Present Help
Today’s Scripture
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Today’s Thought
A refuge is a safe place to run to. Strength is what we need to keep going. God is both. And He’s “ever-present,” not someone we have to track down or wait in line to reach. Living in Florida, we know what it’s like to watch a storm coming and look for a safe place. When the storms of life roll in, God doesn’t just point us toward shelter. He is the shelter.
Put It Into Practice
Text someone who’s going through a hard season today. Remind them God is their refuge and offer to pray with them.
