God didn’t wait for us to clean up before He loved us. Jesus didn’t die for people who had it all together. He died for us while we were still sinners. God’s love isn’t a reward for good behavior. It went first, before we had done anything right. That means you can’t earn more of His love by doing better, and you can’t lose it by having a bad day. You can come to Him exactly as you are.
