As Far as the East
Today’s Scripture
As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
Today’s Thought
If you travel north long enough, eventually you’ll be heading south. But east and west never meet. That’s how far God removes our sin. He doesn’t put it on a shelf to bring up later. When God forgives, He sends it away for good. If God doesn’t hold your past against you, you don’t have to keep holding it against yourself. Living forgiven means living free.
Put It Into Practice
When an old failure comes to mind today, answer it with this verse: “God has removed that from me.” Then keep moving forward.
